    Angel Abandoned

    Abandoned they say

    I threw her away

    I went and saw her today

    Her pretty face

    She left a trace

    Of butterfly kisses on my neck

    It just wasn't a little peck

    It was more than that

    It was more than words could say

    I told her I Loved Her

    And held her close to pray

    I prayed to God he wouldn't let them take her away

    I have missed my angel, these crazy days

    But they will be over

    And then I can hold her
