    Machine Head

    Every single time I've died, you've stood by
    You abused me
    You used me
    All to your benefit
    And me, falling into the pit of your negligence
    Leaving me behind
    After a game of charades has been dealt
    But you say you won't leave me
    Though you hardly believe me
    Say that you'll always be there for me
    Always protect me, do anything for me
    Though you hate me for my imperfections
    You are trying to change me
    Trying to change my perspective on everything
    I thought my machine head was worse on its own
    I can't fathom the fact that there is a love you have always shown
    But I may not be the one, you see
    I can only be me

    Damn...so this is what a shotgun blast to the head feels like. This is too much power to be held in anyone's hands, but you wield it well. I admire anyone who gives voice to truth, no matter how painful it may be to those who hear it. I shall add you to the list of those who command my respect. You've created an an unbelievable work of art.

    This is exactly what it feels like emotionally speaking. All this power and nothing to do with it except wield it towards my words when I write and my tongue when I speak. It is quite painful to bear and quite painful to hold in, but we live another day. We all get over these things. Time heals everything. Thank you for the respect. I truly greatly appreciate it.
