Different

All those time we would fight

You would always think you were right

Holding me tight, kissing me goodnight

I should have left you then

Then I wouldn't have to begin again

Breaking a promise

I never intended to keep

You had pushed me to deep

Now I've hit hit rock bottom you see

And I never thought of me

That I could be

you must always be you - and you can never be anybody else - nice

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
