A Misunderstood Understanding

It's not just a misuderstanding
For it to be that, the understood
Have to be misunderstood
Something so little
Taken out of context
It was a trust issue
Never official
Love, but hate too, were both there
Crossing the line, and breaking a promise
The broken promise a misunderstanding
Which should have been understood by the misunderstander
It was always yours I thought
We would go to war and we fought
Because of a misunderstanding
That should have been understood
