    Poem Commentary

    "What goes around....."

    ash

    .

    like a cruel queen
    tied to a crude stake
she burned in the flames of fate
for one day she did meet her match
snakes of fruition began to hatch
her castle sank within its moat
and serfs did punch holes in her boat
and dragons breathed with burning breath
and sanctioned life with scorching death

her credit cards did rust, recessed
disgraced just like her family crest
she once sat high all poised and perched
believed her strengths outweighed the church

now pawns all pale in worthless white
    sent viruses to her website
computers crashed and turned to ash
and thrown out with the evening trash

this cruel queen, this crude stake
she burned in the flames of fate.

Geez, Crush it almost sounds like a satirical poem about Sarah Palin, lol. I like this write of the fall of the queen bee.

LOL...this one's quirky. people have a few different ideas about what it's about, who it's about. i wrote it about america. thank you for your time, my friend.

I will read it again with America in mind.

History will speak and judge but I believe America is on a downhill slide and soon to be mere memories.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
