    waiting

    dreams are not unrealistic
        but, people can be
            and the limits we put on ourselves
                 often shelves that more golden thought

    overwhelmed by sorrow
    we put away for overmorrow
    which quite frankly never arrives

    and i am guilty as well
    sitting here in my paint by number hell

    procrastinating

    my creativity and concinitty
         are often in the vicinity of some deep slumber
              wake up from the sleep over
    or wash it off
         with strong soap and heavy water

    What comes to mind after reading this....is but one thought that came from a movie title.....EYES WIDE SHUT.....it fits my inner voice of this write....nice my friend....somehow I think for you, it may be and stay....unfinished...lol....Cher

    thank you , Cher. I feel like I have missed you even though I have never met you. I miss your comments and critiques. how have you been ? I have been on sort of hiatus because i have been concentrating on putting together and creating watercolor paintings for my own art exhibit this Fall. YAY ! thank you.

    Love it! "Paint-by-number hell" is a fabulous line, totally captures the self imposed limitations we all seem to have without even knowing it, until we of course attain a level of consciousness where we can step outside of ourselves and observe our own behaviours. And even when we have that ability, we can so easily be drawn back in without even noticing that we are indeed shelving our "golden thoughts"....
