    Poem Commentary

    Based on the aesops fable.

Bell the cat ( a limerick)

in the rodents' hole voices were shrill,
'"our people that cat will kill!
    its place we can tell,
if we put on a bell!"
"that sounds fine" spoke the cat "but who will?"
