Dear Sister
You were lost,Cast out,
Hidden away
Like you were nothing to them..
Nothing for me,
But sister
You were everything.
I thought you died
Because of his lies
And I tried like hell
To fake my life
Like it never occured
That you were alive.
Sister, I can't wait
To find you again
But until then
I sit here waiting,
My heart breaking,
Body aching,
But soon you'll be home.
Sister I'm living
Even though you're not here
I talk to you everyday
In my head, I say
"Dear Sister, How you been"
I know you'll be home soon.
Sister, I know you're living
Making your way back slowly;
Do you miss me like I miss you?
I thought I could kill for you
But then you'd lose me.
Sister, I'm good for you.
The wind whispered to me
Directing with the breeze
They say "Go home,
She'll be there soon."
But I didn't hear them;
I made it home anyway to be with you.
Sister, to see you is pain;
I waited all my life to hug you,
Cry and laugh with you,
To kiss your face,
But here you are now
And clear is my head
Unraveling from the world;
Peace in where I stand.
Dear Sister,
All I know now is you come home
You come with my family
You and they hold me.
Dear sister, we are free.
