Fright Night
I went to see a room one night,
A place "To-Let," but wasn’t right.
The smells and bells caused such a flurry
That pizza man left in a hurry.
My mind said “Quick, some thing is wrong,
Doorbell pressed, but no ding-dong.”
She hollered at the other end,
“Hey there honey, come right on in!”
Two dogs chained down with cable cords,
They weren’t allowed “To-Let” outdoors,
House looked trashed, up to the stairs
But dogs and lady didn’t care.
When I met the other roomie,
She said, "Good Luck" and "Fung Shui" to me.
“Let me show you where you’ll stay,
And I’ll be out of here today!”
I said I could not well abide
To live like that or be inside,
With a glance I noticed more,
Six-Six-Six was on the door!
