    from the ground up

From the ground up, is the only way he can see.
a spiraling diatribe of bad intentions.
nose to nose with the dirt, is all he can be.
heavy on the scale of downward precision.

flora and fauna for acres around him.
sneaking about the ground, as if on a mission.
a view on life that's very dim.
taking anyone he can, down with him.

something inside, a life that has died.
he climbs up a pillar of education
branching off, up and to the side.
he awaits a witness, for his indication.

alas a poor one, stumbles upon the spot
and is instantly intrigued by his conversation
what is it that she wants, what he's got
a nation of information, temtation and relation

a taste of the darkness, and pass to a friend
a flood of modesty, embarassing nudity
to the outside, soon will they send
the outcast of two, to begin history.

I feel you on this one. From the ground up is all there is when you are on the ground or on the floor as I would say.

Beautiful portrayal of man stepping away from God, and great expressionism about the beguiling serpent. I could almost hear the wind rustling in the Garden's trees.

Incredible poem, I read and re-read, what talent for expression and conviction. Thank you for the insight and the challenge of self worldly reflection. Keep creating, write on!

For the Serpent was more subtle then any beast in the field.... Eve saw that the tree was pleasant to the eyes, good for food and a tree to be desired to make one wise... He tempted Eve with the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life and so it goes........

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
