I had a sister my best friend
We were together from beginning to end
She was three years older than me
She was six I was three
I followed her every where she went
All her toys she always lent
But as she got older she wouldn't play
She went out with her friends

And  went her own  way
Some times I would get upset
But when I made friends I did forget
Many years later and still quite close
I loved her my big sister the most
Then when she was just nineteen
She met this guy the best she had seen
She fell in love and moved away
It broke my heart on that day
But we kept in touch by phone and mail
And in a big ship she did sale
She had a baby boy he was her life her joy
Lots of things didn't go to plan
The guy she loved was the wrong man
They split up and she came home
And once again me and her did roam
I was just getting to know her again
We had good times they were insane
By this time she had two kids I had three
We were insuperable her and me
One day after Christmas we had sad news
My sister had died and left us with the blues
We were all in total shock
Her little ones there worlds were rocked
So if you have sister keep in touch
I am sure you love each other very much
Because when a sister has to die
And you cant get to say goodbye
You just keep looking at the stars above
And hoping she can feel your love
