Dont Be Unkind
Why must it be that they laugh at me
Is my life done am I a figure of fun
When you are young is your heart cold
Do you think I don't feel my heart is real
I was like you fresh faced and new
But I wasn't unkind it didn't come to mind
You point and you stare and laugh at me there
But some day you will be old just like me
Ive been in love and Ive been a bride
Ive had my little ones here by my side
We had our struggles but we made it through
I brought up three children much better than you
I taught them to love and show respect
For some day what you give you get back
yes I am old and bent over with pain
I wish I could walk tall and be young again
Some day it will be your turn so don't be unkind
You might just meet kids with evil minds
I hope before you are old you will learn
Or some day in hell I know you will burn
