The Man of God
My heart hurts for you
As I watch what they put you through
All the years by your side
Praying and praising was it a lie
Where in the end was there trust
After all you've done was it not enough
You build them from nothing to so high
When it came to the crunch they said goodbye
Old now you served them well
In your late years you longed to dwell
In the house of the lord that was your dream
Wining souls forever it seems
Or just until the lord calls you home
You didn't want to walk alone
Talking to the lord as you always do
Forever his servant and always true
For every trial there is a season
And for every hurt there is a reason
May God make your amour strong
And give you the health to carry on
When something like this takes place
We need to get together and seek Gods face
We know he has a plan and in the end we will
understand
