     Let us go our separate ways
    I have waited for you for days
    The shadows are lighter than how I feel
    This darkness is hard to deal

    Multiply my pain and divide my heart
    Cannot stop what you could not start
    The silence is cold and so is your skin
    You stretched me too thin

    I had more to say
    But you would not stay
    You would have me disappear
    Forget me in less than a year

    I walk down one road and you another
    Take our memories and start to smother
    I would say goodbye
    You would rather me die
