    This is to the mother of the poem... Katee Ruby.

    The Cracked Ruby

     Broken promises can never be replaced
    But with love they can start to heal
    We all face this horrendous pain
    The sadness can start to overflow
    And to end it you must let love begin
    Feel as it washes over the scars
    Because for everything that is broken
    A thousand words are to be spoken
