    Scars of Love

     Can you hear the final beats of my heart
    I feel nothing but pain as I fall apart
    I go to cry but my tears are dry
    How much longer can I keep up this lie
    What does it mean to smile anymore
    All I want to do is collapse on the floor
    Completely torn asunder
    This unrequited love is nothing but a blunder
    These flames surround and burn
    Do I have the right to yearn
    I feel confused and lost
    Even this lonely love has a cost
    My scars define me
    Pains I hope for no one to see
