Behind Eyelids
Keep dreamingIt's where our hearts belong
Don't open your eyes
I've always hated our goodbyes
Won't you stay
I know we'll find a way
This isn't the end
What we're looking for
Is just around the bend
All we've wished and more
Behind Eyelids
Keep dreamingA poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
