Wind, Water, and Fire
Young eyes left his gazeBut sparks had flown starting this blaze
Years later they're under the night sky
As they lay together she starts to cry
That night he swore he would be the Wind to dry her Tears
That he would be the Water to wash away her Fears
And the Fire in her telling her that she is Loved would be him
The next day in surgery he lost more than just a limb
From the Flavor of Life a father was something I did not taste
And from my mother's mind that moment was never erased
When it came time for her to leave this world and go
She told me something I will always know
Both of them are my Wind, Water, and Fire
And thanks to them I can chase what I desire
