Anatomy of my Heart
There is love and pain
Coursing through every vein.
So when I’ve bled,
It shows in the red.
There are forgotten dreams
Hiding in the eye.
Unravelling at the seams
Every time I cry.
There is a heart
Embedded in the skin.
Feeling for warmth,
For the open arms letting me in.
