    Together

     My words aren't sufficient
    Your silence doesn't help
    The sun goes down
    and the darkness comes up
    But beyond it all is a new day together

    I couldn't find a way to help
    Even so you wouldn't let me
    The clock struck twelve
    and the hourglass was stuck
    But that means we're forever together

    I'm not always there
    You aren't always present
    The thick stretched thin
    and our own walls snapped
    But now we can build one together
