Biography

Well, I really don't know what to say about myself. I have always been pretty bad at talking about myself. So here it goes. I am just a simple guy that is a bit of a romantic, and can't wait to find that special someone. I started writing poems when I was in the 7th grade, and i wrote my first one about the first person I ever had a crush on. It seemed to really help me get all the emotions I was feeling out without being emmbarrassed about telling them to an actual person. I was very shy back then. Well after I wrote my first one, I continued to write about all kinds of things. Well so far I have written about 130 poems that I know of and have actually documented, since I started writing. I have written more, but some of my work has gotten lost along the way. I do have to admit, that I have gotten alot better as time goes on, from when I first started. Well I hope you all can read my work and give me some feedback on what you really think. Also if you have any suggestions on how I can improve, that would be cool too. well hope to hear from you guys soon, as well as read some of your stuff.

wow david! that is all i have to say. wow! your poems are really good! i have enjoyed reading them so much and look forward to hear more!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
