He's a self-proclaimed beer snob and loves coffee and tea. He enjoys reading and writing poetry. His inclination to literary efforts enables him to connect his insight to sacred forces. Being Filipino he loves rice and is very much drawn to savor the gift of silence where he now lives. His formation in the religious life brings him to integrate his spirituality to most of his writings. He's radically rooted in love - love for the poor. According to him, caring for the poor is not an option but rather, it is part of what it means to love. He loves across economic and ethnic lives, and refuse to live safe comfortable lives. For him, the true essence of what it means to know God and to live faithfully for him is found in radical love for God and others.
