Star Wader
Wading through the stars, these waters,
as warm as a freshly drawn bath
incinerating fires of youth
my thirst quenched drowning in this pool
disrobed, unveiled, I revel in this summer night
elevated swimming in dreams fulfilled
spilling out becoming one with this darkness
the black that envelopes the shores
once kissed by the sun
I ache in this moment
Overwhelmed by the myriad emotions
That can run so fierce and fast
In the distance lovers embrace
But I will be entangled in my own arms tonight
I will discover my deepest passions
I will move through myself and these gentle waters
A pioneer of undiscovered territories
Shaking off all the dust and chaos
Moving through these waters like I belong here
Just a mermaid that once walked on the land.
