Sun Catcher
You kiss my lips,
the colors burst and shatter my soul,
into a thousand pieces.
They mix and mingle with,
the myriad emotions,
that drench my heart in light.
Like a prism, a suncatcher,
hung in the window,
your eyes reflect all that I feel,
back at me.
For a moment, time is lost.
Not standing still,
but moving so quickly,
that it can't be caught.
It feels like falling really fast,
while your feet remain,
firmly planted on the ground.
The silence is like a shout.
Before I knew it,
my heart was in your hands.

the colors burst and shatter my soul,
into a thousand pieces.
They mix and mingle with,
the myriad emotions,
that drench my heart in light.
Like a prism, a suncatcher,
hung in the window,
your eyes reflect all that I feel,
back at me.
For a moment, time is lost.
Not standing still,
but moving so quickly,
that it can't be caught.
It feels like falling really fast,
while your feet remain,
firmly planted on the ground.
The silence is like a shout.
Before I knew it,
my heart was in your hands.
