The Secret Pain I Hide

A part of me screams inside

        To let me die

        I live a lie

When all along I may never mend

When deep inside I beg for the end

In my mind it whispers sweetly

        I'm always silently weeping

Plaguing my soul screaming in my head

I am lost, gone, alone, and dead.

Wow...I can relate to this, and it puts my feelings into words perfectly. This left me speechless. Thank you for posting this.

Your welcome I'm glad i can reflect upon you in such a way

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
