Waterfalls
Waterfalls,This water falls from my eyes,
Not the skies,
Flowing freely from the depths of my soul,
Gripping me with grief as my heart gets cold.
You continue to hurt me with said things,
To my heart it clings,
It burns me,
It turns me,
Into the bitter, cold, unforgiving ME,
You forget we are human with a fleshly hearts,
Throwing words at me like poison darts,
But love wells up inside me, still so strong,
Even though this time you were wrong,
My heart so weak I forgive you,
I release the hurt, the anger too,
As I realize I will always love you,
No matter what you do.
