Blue Jays
Blue Jays
Lovely, lively, living beings with beautiful bodies and wonderful meaning,
Watching the songbirds consistently singing,
Giving me sensations I could never have felt without first having seen them.
I hear their sporadic melodies and I dance motionless to their joyful song.
In my mind I am constantly dreaming of believing,
That one day the blue jays which whisper their stories of inspiration secretly in my ear,
Living their lives without anger or fear,
Can lift me up and fly me away.
But my spirit became forsaken with greed,
I can no longer be rescued by a sun induced dream.
As I watch the blue jay and her friends drift carelessly through the breath of the south,
I quickly realize that ignorance dominates the appealing feeling of happiness I see.
As I listen to the creature's tunes becoming foreign and estranged,
I see the world excepting people subsisting so deranged,
while all I can do is dream of believing that the blue jays were singing to me.
