The Intelligence Tree
The Intelligence Tree.
We see intelligence all around us,
We notice its quickness and enjoy its appeal,
We take part in consuming the fruit from its branches before that fruit has grown,
And I choose not to take part in destruction,
But only in a different way.
Only in a different way,
I move forward because I chose to yeild,
Because for the knowledge that I have,
I was shown.
The Intelligence Tree is getting weary,
Because the Intelligence Tree is far too weak,
And the branches of the Intelligence Tree will fall after they're forced to break,
Unless we feed the Intelligence Tree with knowledge of our own.
We are all seeds of the Intelligence Tree,
If we drink all the water then we never sprout,
But I shared my canteen with the Intelligence Tree,
And for that action I stand alone,
Because the Intelligence Tree needs flowers,
And I want those flowers to grow.
