The Stone Door
The Stone DoorThe Stone Door
I have the Key to the Stone Door
which leads me to the lonely shore,
Where I can sit and wonder, “why?”
But will I wait?
Or will I try to go back home where I belong?
Now, ..it's too late.. there's something wrong.
I've lost the key to the Stone Door,
And now I sit here evermore.
I may have lost my soul in darkness,
But I will not lose my mind.
The keepers of the keys are hidden,
While not so difficult to find.
I have lost myself in this very strange place,
Encompassed in anger and buried in fear.
...My weakness will soon be overcome,
A distant voice whispered into my ear...
...The walls in life will tremble in vain of my name,
...I'll keep the righteous minds from going insane,
...I will no longer suffer and fret and fail,
...I've learned the secrets of the mother,
...I bring wisdom on the course we soon will sail.
I have found the key to the stone door.
Another day envious of the previous,
devising devious plots of hopeless escape,
my key wont turn because it is borrowed,
I can never leave my mischevous fate,
I anger like a lion's roar,
If only the locking mechanism weren't so tedious,
As to prevent me from opening the impenetrable,
Stone Door.
