The Subsequent King
The Subsequent King.
There is a darkness in my life,
It has taken over me,
I live within its shadowed scars,
There is no saving me.
I asked for it to guide my soul,
I told it to live within my mind,
But it had already heard me,
So I was speaking in vein.
The words I have spoken were meaningless to the darkness in which my body condoned.
While commanding an army of sorrow,
I sought to seek my crown,
But I realized that after I gave an order,
The King of my army had already been crowned.
Now I am scared of retaliation,
Because I know it would kill me,
So I let the darkness command me,
Until the day I am found.
I pray to the Gods that the light will find me,
But until that day,
Within the darkness I will be bound.
