Deep Thinking
Thinking, Diving into a sea of thin, plastic bubbles, hidden right beneath the silky, still surface
Every bubble, a question
Time spent submerged, a thought
I could spend forever down there,
suspended in reason and logic
and pulled by fantasy and passion
Pulled and pulled and pulled,
never to an answer,
yet I willingly scull amongst the bubbles,
not even thinking about going up,
not caring to,
and then I am able to breathe no more
calmly, Slowly my legs kick
swimming Slowly through a gelatin sea,
gently pushing the bubbles aside,
Slowly, so i resurface,
come out of the stupor Slow, like sleep,
blinking in the sun light transfixed
on answers we're not meant to know
