placing what I know
to be the best of me
with roses of every color inside
and a love so true at your feet
I am pathetic in this
and I will not hide it well
a strength that goes without saying
my standing behind what is felt
aggressive,assertive,and available
a means to offer my hand
in this form I come to you
as my only master plan
to fill your trellis honestly
and to keep your fountain clear
so you can believe that what you see
is also what you hear
