Humble Life

Humble Life

In world of grudes and vails
In the phase of disfullment and distress
In the compititions and hoarding myself
In the process of aims and objectives

Now we're surving for fulfilment and existence
who's worry for life of sufferings and hungers
Solving the own deeds and dishes
Noone has time for needy and elders

Time's constraint and everything should be grabbed
No play more work's the motto of today
Money attracting money's game of maturity
fame and name's in the mind of thirty to fifty

few're there who've humble lives
Who're sedding tears when one's lost
some're there who's aims not to gain
Take no advantage but willing to spare

Calculation's not in the life of humble
Happily they live with content and richness.

ginga commented on Humble Life

Here, here dear jyothi. Your poem is rich in humanity and selflessness. I loved how you expressed your disdain for the wealth and greed as well as the pompous. Pure and simpler living is better. (You might enjoy these 2 poems I have posted: "Big and Little" and "Enough Said" ty ginga

TY for sharing the feeling and expression.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
