Hurricane
Lovely Caribbean sun
Deceive me with your brightness
Soft breezes flowing
Straight in my heart
Blue water flowing through my veins
Oh you liar...you deceptor
Filling up my head
Overflowing with stagnant water
Left from the hurricane
That wreaked havoc in the soul of youth
You gave up second chances
And first ones too I see
And when the trees came crashing down
You blamed it all on me
But I am not your Savior
Nor your shining light
And as the years go passing by
You will also take to flight
For one cannot soar
If one cannot fly
And blaming that on others
Just makes me want to cry
So stand up to the storms
That will surely pass through here
And when you're feeling weary
Just bow your head in prayer
