    Poem Commentary

    i wrote this poem for sam. she is my gaurdian angel she has helped me through my hard life even though i have not known her for very long and i only know her form the internet i am drawn to her becuase i finally feel loved and that someone really cares if i am in this world or not.. i thank her so much that nor words or actions can describe how thankful i am for her. she is such a beautiful lady with a warm heart and i am so glad i got the chance to meet her and that i will get to meet her in person later on in life. i wish her all the best and that she live a long healthy beautiful shining life and she live for as long as she could ever hope for.

    if it wasn't for you

     if it wasnt for you i wouldnt be here
    i wouldnt belong here
    i would have taken my life
    if it wasnt for you

    just when i thought i had nobody
    i met you
    you gave my day a little sunshine
    and now i have opened my eyes

    you have showed me that life is a ribbon
    it has been woven into many different patterns
    and that no matter what
    i can not let the scissors cut that ribbon

    no matter how much i want to give up
    you keep pushing to make me realize
    that i am important
    that i have a place in this cruel and harmful world

    if it wasnt for you
    i would feel unloved like i have for so long
    i would feel hopless like a swan in a pack of tigers
    i would never have thought other things then what i am used to hearing

    so if it wasnt for you
    i wouldnt be here
    i would no longer exist
    you have completed me becuase you are my gaurdian angel

    wow this is truly amazing, i realy took it to heart. i can fel your pain. i love the use of symbolism with the ribbon. very poetic. .keep up the good work!

    I like this piece I enjoyed the line I would fell hopeless like a swan in a pac of tigers. keep writing.

    April that is a great poem and thanks for writing it to me...I am writing this through tears in my eyes cause you have touched my heart and i dont really know what to say...Im glad that you thought of me and thats wat stopped you. Im glad that I can help you and we havent even met. This will be going in my favorites as the same like the other one. Thanks
