For the Beaten Child
For the beaten child
Who cries in pain
Who’s tears run
Silent, like the rain
For the child who used
To satisfy lust
Who never learns to love or trust
For the child’s who’s home
Is just a shell
Where life becomes a living hell
For the child who smiles
But cannot feel
Because of scars
To deep to heal
For every child
Who yearns for love
I hope and pray
To god above
To hear your cries
And heal your pain
While the doer
Roams guilt free
The victim suffers
For eternity
Even though
None was their fault
they can’t help from having thoughts
The thing that’s intimidating
Beyond belief
Is that this child
Can’t feel relief
The same happened
Time and time again
The first on was
Just how it began
The thing that
is the worst
Is they don’t care
About the child they hurt
Now their heart
Is broken in two
Congratulations
All the blame goes to you!
(the hurter not god)
