NIGHT'S BREATH
The air is still
With days last waning breath
Hushed and waiting
For the night's first breath of life
Softly comes the twilight
It's breath flowing gently
O'er the children huddled in their beds
Night's breath flows quietly
Down the alleyway's and darkening streets
It whistles as it rounds the corners
and sighs contentedly as it flows
Past the trees in the park
It groans dully as it skates
Across the vacant lots
Night's breath in the city
A chorus of sound and emotion
Companion to the
Wanderers of the Night
Hiving solace in a world of chaos
Bringing a smile
To those of us with so little
To smile about
WOLF NOMAD
