OLD FRIEND
Death holds no dominion
I do not fear it's dark embrace
I has dogged my steps
Since first I drew breath
Cradling me many times
Within it's chilling folds
I have gazed upon his face
And heard the owl call my name
And yet here i stand
Death peering over my shoulder
Unafraid of what lies ahead
Knowing that my old friend
Will be holding me in the end.
