So many voices
Talking all at once
So many emotions
bombard me at every turn
my mind is in chaos
my body wracked by tremors
one voice raises above the others
midnight velvet flows from his lips
I concentrate on this voice
slowly the others recede
soft melodic deep
his voice flows around me
All things start to calm
all things are at peace
