    My many colored blankets

     Slowly I cut out each piece
    Lovingly sewing them together

    Many sweat shirt have died
    To make my blankets
    So little I have in this world
    But my homemade pillow and blankets

    Are cherished above all
    My bed is made of cardboard

    My shoes mostly duck tape
    But my many colored blankets

    Are surely heaven Sent

    oh wow perfect write wolf. i come from a poor family myself and we never really had much. but the little things i did have i cherished them til this day. like this one christmas i think i was like 5 or 6 and and we didnt have anything ( not even food) nd these like brought else some bread and some other left over stuff this bakery. and i remember they gave me this rag doll. it was used but it was like the best git ever, and i still have that doll today. hahaha but anyway great poem. love n peace.90

    those with so little have so much. we forget the small stuff. Each new breath is a gift from Heaven.
