WOLF
Quietly I slip through the Night
Seeking solitude
Deep within I struggle
Locked away from sight
The Two half's of me
One hidden from the light
Far away from prying eyes
A place of beauty and tranquility
My weary eyes do find
A little meadow green and bright
A cave on the other side
Perfect for my plight
I settle in my movements smooth and instinctive
Shedding one half of me
Like a snake with too tight skin
The other half of me
Soft and fragile
Like a silken moth's wing
The Wolf is at rest
Gentled by the velvet touch
Of the Dark Angel that dwells within
Two half's of the whole
One strong; One fragile
Few have seen the other side
Or the gentle smile
That hides behind
This Lone Wolf's troubled eyes
WOLF NOMAD
