ONE SHALL TAKE MY PLACE
A little child is born, replaces a life lost,Room has been made, at such a terrible cost.
And though it may hurt deeply, it's like nature at its' best,
Survival of the fittest, one goes to make room for the rest.
A loved one we hold so dear, sometimes leaves us young,
But life without death, is like a song left unsung.
Tis better to have loved and lost, than never loved at all,
What would life be, without that one that stood so tall.
Had we never known this love, felt this hurt so deep,
There would be no reason, to wake up after a sleep.
Cry the pain inside of you, let yourself feel,
Weep not in silence, let others help you heal.
When the healing is done, your heart laden no more,
You'll find one chapter closed, as life opens another door.
Your loved one would not choose, you suffer eternal pain,
Just hold fond memories, and start your life again.
