    Poem Commentary

    I was really bored and just made up a poem about school, Since i was in class. Isnt great but just something that came out.

    School,School,School

     To some people school is cruel
    To some people school is a place to get away
    Away from home
    Away from the arguing
    Away from the crying 

    To some people school is cruel
    To some people school is a place to forget
    Forget about everything outside the white walls
    Forget everything but your friends who make you
    Smile and laugh.
    To forget about the present

    To some people school is cruel
    To some people school is their tool
    Tool to create their unknown dreams
    Tool to answer their unanswered questions
    Tool to make plans for their future
    Which isn't far away

    To some people school is just a place filled with rules
    But to some people, Like me. 
    school is filled with fools who take it for
    granted.

    I agree wholeheartedly with this commentary on school. I tried to get my MA in Middle East Studies a few years back but ran out of funds before I finished. I miss it terribly, and wish I could go back, but there is no money. I love the way you compare and contrast. Unfortunately, too many do take if for granted.
