    Sibling Rivalry

    Meowing echoed
    As she set on the prowl
    Chasing the nightly sounds
    Her emerald eyes found

    The sqeaky mouse tearing a Hole
    In a bag of some left over rolls

    Sitting in silence she stalked her snack
    But what she had not anticipated
    was her brother behind her back

    He had already done the same
    At that moment he pounced on her prey
    Would any left overs remain?
    Not even a little she complained
    @-}

    He was not as clever
    as he had hoped to portray
    For the little nibbler had gotten away
