"Soul mates"
Two doves perched in an old weeping willow
Till one flew away as the other remained in wait
The season quickly did change
No longer could this bird refrain relocation
Sadly upon return
Only a bare branch lay firmly below her
Years past by and yet no sign of his arrival
Left with only memories rooted deep beneath
As new ones mounted
little ones sprouted her a mom
But he had come back arriving in shock
stopping half way there turned back in despair
She then abides unaware
Life went on for quite long
Thou they were still apart through time
Their hearts expanded in wisdom
Meanwhile fate did smile
Landing in an old spruce tree
At exactly the right moment
Excited they have reunited
Their love grows like branches
As the wind does chorus the leaves
Rustling sweet melodies of their life togather
Till one flew away as the other remained in wait
The season quickly did change
No longer could this bird refrain relocation
Sadly upon return
Only a bare branch lay firmly below her
Years past by and yet no sign of his arrival
Left with only memories rooted deep beneath
As new ones mounted
little ones sprouted her a mom
But he had come back arriving in shock
stopping half way there turned back in despair
She then abides unaware
Life went on for quite long
Thou they were still apart through time
Their hearts expanded in wisdom
Meanwhile fate did smile
Landing in an old spruce tree
At exactly the right moment
Excited they have reunited
Their love grows like branches
As the wind does chorus the leaves
Rustling sweet melodies of their life togather
