    What Do You See

     Look at me,
    What do you see?
    A lonely girl....
    Or a spirit thats free?
    When you look in my eyes,
    Do you feel the intensity
    reaching for the skies?
    Or just the blue,
    from the tears that I cry?
    When you touch my skin,
    do you feel the energy radiating
    from within?
    Or just the scars from a life
    long past its end?
    When you hear my voice
    does it make you cringe?
    Or does it bring to mind
    a song thats never been?
    When you look at me
    What do you truly see?
    A shell of a person?
    Or the truth of me?
