    Not Mine

Feverish flames shoot through my veins
Fear is the only thing keeping me sane
I try to stop the jealouse flashes
    but they are ignited by
    his forgiving touches
The words that slip from his mind
    Always proving gentle and kind
    Pushing me off balance
    one of his many talents
Keeping my world peaceful and calm
Please tell me that I am not wrong
    Pushing him away
A safe place for him to stay
    Far, far away

I belive that this poem has with very simple words in a very simple way, express not only the pain that an addiction can cost, but also the pain of the consequences of the addition and of traing to do the right thing, wich some times means having to separed our selves from our love ones. EvilEyes, thank you for such a bold expression of fealings.

    cool I get it

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
