    Thank you daddy for letting me see
    The only way I can have your love
    Is letting you be
    No more long helpful talks
    We will never have time to take any walks
    My love for you is heartbreakingly strong
    Even though in your eyes
    Everything I do is wrong
    You won't have to groan anymore
    When you hear or see me knock at the door
    No matter what happens I will always love you
    But I will stay away and not bother you
    I know you can't stand to be around me
    for more than an hour
    I also know that our conversations
    mostly end sour
    But I always kiss you and hug you good bye
    Just remember that my love for you will never die

    It take alot of emotional control to just even see u n ur father from an outside box and then to turn around and share it with the world...... thank you for letting us tap into you and see..

    I enjoyed this writing. I never knew my dad and he died when I was 16 (I'm 43). I struggle with never being a "daddy's girl" and never knowing him. I have often thought, maybe I'm lucky because their are women out there who know their daddy's and the relationship is strained for some reason....I'm sorry for your saddness. Good writing!

    I have experienced both aspects of the table... not having one parent and having the other push me away.... Maybe I remind him to much of her not sure.... makes it hard to show my kids family values when all my life I have taught myself to stand strong and alone.... I am not sure which one hurt worse.... not having my mother or having a dad and not being wanted.... thank you for your comment and compliment much appreciated

    my father is the same way sort of only ive havent seen him in 15 years and he used to beat my mom , and blames the way i am and everything else on her and she says i remind her of him , i hate that.
