A Love So Real
I sit here with my head in my hands
Trying very hard to understand
Pieces of my broken heart too small
I know I will never find them all
Feelings were always of love for you
Was it something I did, or didn’t do
Something from a while back in time
Over and over it torments my mind
Now I’ve lost all that matters in my life
Love of my kids and the love of my wife
I sit here alone each and every night
Pushing back the tears, it’s a losing fight
I wanted you to know just how I feel
I never had to fake a love so real
