    If ever a tear

    comes to your eye

    If anyone ever

    Makes you cry

    Whisper my name

    Day or night

    I will be there

    To make it right

    If a cold heart

    Has done you harm

    I’ll hold you tenderly

    Within my arms

    If dark lies of love

    Cast shadows on you

    I’ll be the light

    So you see the truth

    Your not alone

    I’ll hold your hand

    Listen to your problems

    And understand
